About Me
I became aware of the impact diet can have on illness many years ago when investigating how I could help family members and friends who were suffering from health issues. I discovered that every symptom or illness could be improved upon through dietary change and these improvements could be even more dramatic when lifestyle changes were put in place and if necessary the use of nutritional supplements.
I began studying to gain a deeper understanding. I started at college and then I completed a degree in Human Biology at University followed by a postgraduate course specialising in Nutrition. It was important to me that my understanding was science based and proven by scientific research.
I work under the title of Nutritional Therapy as I believe diet to be the basis of being healthy however I consider all the influences that are affecting an individual and will recommend other changes which I believe to be important. By using a holistic approach and by encompassing all influences I have a much greater success with my clients.
I enjoy the challenge of pinpointing the underlying cause or causes of an issue and a remedy that is right for the individual. There is often more than one contributing factor and all influences need consideration, however it is down to the client as to which changes they wish to apply. I am understanding of each clients capabilities.
I offer ongoing support by phone or e mail and follow ups at a very reasonable price as I like to work with a client for as long as help is needed without costs being excessive.
There is an endless list of symptoms I may help with so just get in touch if you are unsure or if you just wish to obtain optimum health and reduce your risk of illness!
