Food intolerances / IBS
Intolerance to certain foods seems to be coming ever more common and we all seem to know somebody who suffers or who has suffered symptoms.
Some of the most debilitating and unpleasant symptoms are those that are lumped together as IBS and range from constipation or diarrhoea to bloating and pain.
Certain foods may be a trigger for IBS and through the removal or reduction of specific foods symptoms can be reduced dramatically. Lifestyle changes may also be of particular benefit with these symptoms and are an important consideration.
In some cases tests to investigate gut bacteria and supplements may be beneficial.
